MUSIC:

The Minstrel is a superb singer and brilliant guitarist. He performs beautiful acoustic background music in the form of classic songs from the 60s and 70s (Simon and Garfunkel, Cat Stevens, Neil Young, etc) while your guests are conversing during cocktails or meal. After dinner he adds drum and bass backing tracks to the mix to produce fabulous foot stomping dance music (everything from Elvis to Rolling Stones). This music is appreciated by all age groups, but especially loved by the over 40 brigade.

SONGWRITING:

An expert songwriter, the Minstrel is commissioned to write serious and comedic songs and jingles. Otago Regional Council commissioned “Albatross of Taiaroa” to celebrate 150 years of European settlement in Otago. The Mad Butcher commissioned a song for Stacey Jones’ tribute dinner.

MASTER OF CEREMONIES:

The Minstrel has fifteen years experience as a corporate conference mc. He knows how to help ensure your conference runs smoothly and to time. He uses humorous topical verse, sharp wit and an intimate knowledge of all things Kiwi to keep your delegates focussed and entertained whilst introducing guests with business savvy professionalism. He even uses his considerable talents as a singer/guitarist to welcome guests to breakfast (see music section)
